Although I was giving the name Christa, I was given the unique nickname of Chissie by my siblings! Growing up, my family instilled in me a deep appreciation for education, art, good design, and the environment. A few years back, I came across a treasure trove of old costume jewelry at a local swappers meet. I realized that these timeless pieces could be repurposed into new, unique designs. Many people hold onto their family’s jewelry, unsure of what to do with it, so I started creating custom pieces for them. My work ranges from contemporary and abstract designs to natural settings.
